Application for First-Year Bachelor's Degree Programs 2025/26

2.2.2025: Opening of University Admission
University application includes completion of the online application form for candidates with foreign qualifications and submission of all supporting documents.
In order to complete their application, candidates must:
1. Take the relevant test/s no later than the end of April:
-Psychometric Entrance Exam (or SAT/ACT)
-AMIRAM
-YAELNET test (or the Placement and Proficiency test)
2. Submit an official copy of their high school graduation/matriculation certificate as well as all other documents relevant to their
application.
3. Applicants eligible for affirmative action must submit their request to the Society for Advancement of Education by February 2025.
Students of the Rothberg Mechina Program (studying in the academic year 2024/25) will be allowed to submit missing documents at a later date, provided that they have applied while regular admission to the program was still open.Admission is based on places available. It is highly recommended to apply as early as possible. Once places are filled, programs close for regular admission, and applicants that meet all admission requirements can apply for the waiting list only. Acceptance from the waiting list is competitive, and once places become available wait-listed candidates with the highest qualifications will be admitted.
The April test date of the Psychometric Entrance Test, YALNET and AMIRAM is valid for admission to all programs. Once a program closes for admission, applicants that have not submitted all necessary application documents or have not taken the relevant test/s on time will be rejected, with the exception of current students of the Rothberg Mechina Program (2024/2025) and candidates that have declared that they intend to take the test in April.
Applicants serving in the IDF reserve in 2025 will be able to submit test results at a later date according to the special provisions detailed here.
- Admission Process for Occupational Therapy

Personal Interview
During the months of February to July relevant candidates will be invited for an interview. The interview is a mandatory part of the admission process.
An invitation to the interview does not guarantee acceptance to the program.
The interview is conducted by three interviewers in the School of Occupational Therapy and lasts about half an hour.
Prior to the interview, candidates will be asked to fill a personal detail form and sign a Health Declaration (special medical conditions require a medical certificate).
The goal of the interview is to learn about the personal characteristics of the candidates. It includes an open discussion in Hebrew about the candidate's life experience as well as about a case study presented during the interview. In addition, candidates are asked to elaborate on their wish to study Occupational Therapy.Preparatory Science Course
Prior to the beginning of the first year of studies, students are required to participate in a preparatory Science course. There is an additional fee for the course. Course dates: 2.9.-30.9.2025.Orientation Day
Participation in the Orientation Day is mandatory.Ministry of Health Vaccination Requirements
In order to participate in the clinical studies of the program, students must meet the vaccination requirements of the Ministry of Health. Students cannot be accepted and/or continue their studies if they refuse to receive the relevant vaccines.
- Admission Process for Medicine and Military Medicine (Tzameret)

The application deadline for 2025/26 admission is 3.5.2025.
The April test date of the Psychometric Entrance Test is the latest valid test date for admission for the 2025/26 academic year.
The two-day selection process will take place in July and includes a personal/biographical questionnaire and interviews/simulations (stations).
There will be only one date available for the personal/biographical questionnaire: 4.7.2025.

- Admission Process for Dental Medicine and the BINA Program

The application deadline for 2025/26 admission is 3.5.2025.
The April test date of the Psychometric Entrance Test is the latest valid test date for admission for the 2025/26 academic year with the exception of current students of the Rothberg Mechina Program (2024/2025).
Admission Stages:
1. Candidates must meet the basic requirements including the required Psychometric Test score.
2. Spatial Perception TestThe spatial perception test is offered once a year on a single test date. The test will be conducted on Friday, 13.6.2025 both at the Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University. When registering for the test, candidates can note their preferred test location (regardless of the university they have applied to for studies).
Registration for the test will be open from 27.5.205 until 8.6.2025. Eligible candidates will receive a link to the online registration and payment (500 NIS) by email. There will be no late registration. The test will be valid only for the same year it is taken and test scores can be considered only for admission the same year.
The candidates achieving the highest results (85%-95%) are admitted to the next admission stage.3. Interview and Personality Questionnaire SHAUL
The Interview and the Personality Questionnaire SHAUL will be offered on three consecutive days, 14/15/16.7.2025, and take place at the Faculty of Dental Medicine (Ein Kerem Campus). Please note that each candidate will be allocated one of the three dates and that there is no possibility to change the date.
The final score of this admission stage consists of 80% Interview and 20 Questionnaire SHAUL.
Interview and Questionnaire fee: 850 NIS.
Candidates that have already taken the SAUL during 2025 will be exempt from retaking it but must participate in the interview on the allocated day.Candidates that fail to pay the fee and/or don't show for the interview/questionnaire will not be able to continue the admissions process, and their candidacy will be cancelled.
Candidates will be ranked according to their final score. The final score for admission is calculted as follows: 75% stage 3 and 25% stage 1. The candidates with the highest scores will be accpeted according to places available.
Current Mechina students (2024/25) will be invited to conditionally participate in the screening process.
The Faculty reserves the right to modify the admissions process and change test dates.
