Dear applicant,
Congratulations on your admission to the Hebrew University for the academic year 2024/2025.
In order to ensure your place in the program you have been accepted to, you are required to pay the deposit of 1113 NIS by the date indicated in your letter of admission. The deposit will be offset against your tuition fee. Course registration will be possible only after the deposit has been paid.
If you were accepted to a lower preference and in the future will be accepted to a higher preference, the deposit will be counted towards the tuition of the new program.
The deposit can be paid on the Personal Information Website by credit card (credit card payments are subject to a processing fee of 1%) or by ordering an electronic voucher (to be paid at the postal bank only). If you wish to use your IDF deposit (Pikadon) in order to pay, please choose the option "Paying by Pikadon" in the personal account. Please note that it takes about seven business days for the Pikadon payment to be processed. We therefore strongly recommend paying the deposit prior to the payment deadline.

All candidates accepted to the Hebrew University are required to pay the deposit on time, including:
- Current students being accepted to an additional department: The deposit must be paid regardless of tuition payments for the current year of studies.
- Students eligible for a tuition scholarship from The Student Authority (Ministry of Aliya and Integration): Students are required to pay the deposit as well as the yearly tuition fee and will be reimbursed by The Student Authority.
-
Applicants that have applied for a scholarship or a loan from the Financial Aid Unit of
the Dean of Students Office: If their request is approved, the tuition system will be updated accordingly. Students will be reimbursed, should their account show a positive balance.
-
Applicants that have been informed that they qualify for an Excellence Award:
Once their eligibility for the award has been confirmed (about a month after the beginning of the academic year), the tuition system will be updated accordingly. Students will be reimbursed, should their account show a positive balance.
